At Bay Area Hearing Services we work with each patient to provide an initial examination of the ear and the entire auditory system including a video otoscopic inspection of the ear to check for any wax blockage, infections or other abnormalities. We perform a thorough hearing evaluation to determine if the hearing problem stems from a sensorineural hearing loss or if the patient is suffering from a conductive loss. Once we review the results from the test, we can determine if the patient is a candidate for an hearing instrument or if they might need a medical referral.
